Our rugs are handwoven with 100% Vermont raised wool, primarily from our own flock and supplemented as needed from other local farms. All of our wool is processed and spun either by hand, or at Aurora Spinnery in Berlin, VT. The yarn is used in its natural color, or dyed by hand using organic botanical dyes. After spinning and dyeing, the yarn woven into rugs on 17th-19th century restored barn looms. The time intensive process is hyper local, supports our and other small farms / businesses, and is free from the use of harmful chemicals and industrial machinery.
